RIE Bhubaneswar Program Highlights Grandparents' Role in Education
RIE Bhubaneswar hosted a special event to celebrate grandparents!
They showed how grandparents are important for kids' learning, especially in today's digital world.
The event introduced something called Jaadui Pitara, a kit with fun toys and books from the government that makes learning fun.
Grandparents learned how to use these tools and were excited to get involved.
The idea is that grandparents can help kids learn by telling stories, teaching values, and making them feel safe.
This helps children grow in a well-rounded way, according to the National Education Policy 2020.
RIE Bhubaneswar organized an orientation program for grandparents of Balvatika children.
The program highlighted grandparents' role in shaping children's inquisitiveness and values.
The event introduced NCERT’s Jaadui Pitara (Magic Vessel) kit, for children aged 3-8.
Facilitators emphasized play-based learning and the kit's relevance in child development.
The program aimed to strengthen education at the foundational stage through inter-generational dialogue.
