India, Australia Conclude CECA Talks to Boost Trade
India and Australia are working on a bigger trade deal called CECA, building on a smaller agreement from 2022.
They just finished their 11th meeting to talk about it in New Delhi.
They discussed things like trade, digital services, and labor rules.
Both countries plan to keep talking to finish the agreement and make trade easier between them.
They also added topics like competition policy and innovation to the CECA.
India and Australia concluded the 11th round of CECA negotiations.
Negotiations covered trade, mobility, digital trade, and rules of origin.
Legal and institutional provisions such as environment and labour were also discussed.
Both partners will continue virtual intersessions to maintain momentum.
