Modi Sets Three Priorities for BRICS Summit 2026

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke at the BRICS Summit 2026 in Delhi.

He said the world needs changes in how global institutions work.

He named three priorities: Representation, Responsiveness and Rule-making.

Representation means countries should have a fairer voice.

Responsiveness means institutions should react better to today’s problems.

Rule-making means countries should help shape the rules they follow.

Modi said reforming the United Nations Security Council should not be delayed.

He also said financial institutions should give more influence to countries that are helping drive global growth.
