Delhi Police Cite Past Violence Ahead of October 10 Protest
A protest is planned at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on October 10.
Police say an earlier gathering there lasted much longer than allowed and involved violence.
They reported that many officers were injured and students were hurt.
Police also said they are taking reports of women constables being assaulted seriously.
Because extra security and traffic restrictions are expected, the airport has asked travellers to leave more time for their journeys.
It also suggested using other ways to get to or from the airport.
Officials are asking people to cooperate so the city can remain safe and orderly.
