Ex-Corporator Urges Expansion of Khairne Urdu School
A former leader named Munawar Patel wrote a letter to the city officials in Navi Mumbai.
He said that a school teaching in Urdu is too crowded, and students don't have enough space.
He also said that the city has enough money to fix this but hasn't done anything.
Patel wants the school to start teaching in both Urdu and English so kids can get better jobs.
He also mentioned that a place called Anganwadi, which helps pregnant women and kids, is not doing a good job.
He asked for a new Anganwadi centre to be built in the village.
Former corporator Munawar Patel submitted a memorandum to NMMC highlighting overcrowding at Khairne Urdu School.
Parents and villagers demand the school be converted to a Semi-English medium institution.
Patel criticized NMMC's inaction despite its strong financial position.
Anganwadi services in the village are reportedly inadequate and discriminatory.
Patel demanded a new Anganwadi centre be established in Khairne village.
