NIPS Kolkata Culinary Marathon Showcases 263 Rare Indian Recipes

Students at NIPS Institute of Hotel Management in Kolkata held a special cooking event.

They made 263 uncommon Indian dishes in six hours.

There were 126 students involved in the challenge.

The recipes came from many regions and communities across India.

Some dishes are rarely seen in restaurants or modern homes.

Students researched where the recipes came from and how they were traditionally made.

Teachers and senior students helped newer students work as a team.

The World Book of Records London provisionally checked the event as a possible record.
