IWSA Opens Learning Garden Museum To Promote Urban Biodiversity
The Indian Women Scientists’ Association has opened a special garden in Navi Mumbai.
It is called the Learning Garden Living Museum.
The garden has more than 450 kinds of plants.
Some plants are used for food, medicine, scents and decoration.
It also has spaces that help butterflies and other pollinators.
Solar power, rainwater collection and composting help the garden use resources carefully.
Visitors can learn about nature by seeing and handling plants.
The project hopes to inspire people to create greener and more wildlife-friendly urban spaces.
