Apple's First Foldable iPhone: Leaks Ahead of September Launch
Apple is rumored to be making its first iPhone that folds open like a book.
It may be called the iPhone Ultra, although Apple has not confirmed that name.
The phone could have a small screen when closed and a larger, tablet-like screen when opened.
Reports say it may be very thin and have a titanium frame.
It might use Touch ID instead of Face ID because there may not be enough room for the Face ID sensors.
The phone could have two powerful rear cameras and cameras on both screens.
It may also have a very large battery and a new Apple chip.
Leaks suggest Apple could announce it on September 9, but the specifications, price, and launch date remain unconfirmed.
Apple reportedly plans to launch its first foldable iPhone on September 9 alongside the iPhone 18 Pro models.
The rumored device, possibly called the “iPhone Ultra,” could use a book-style design with 5.5-inch and 7.8-inch OLED displays.
Leaks suggest a titanium frame, a reduced inner-screen crease, and a thickness of about 4.5mm when unfolded.
The phone may use Touch ID in its power button, dual 48MP rear cameras, and an under-display inner camera.
Reports estimate a $2,000-$2,500 starting price and a battery capacity of 5,400mAh to 5,800mAh.
