Delhi High Court Reserves Order on YouTuber Bharti’s Bail Plea

Delhi High Court Reserves Order on YouTuber Bharti’s Bail Plea

Ajeet Bharti is a YouTuber facing a case over comments about politician Chandrashekhar Azad.

Azad says the comments were insulting and caste-based.

He also says they targeted Scheduled Caste people and B. R. Ambedkar.

Bharti’s lawyer says Bharti did not use a casteist insult.

The lawyer also said Bharti was responding to a serious provocation involving a family member.

A lower court denied Bharti pre-arrest bail on September 7.

Bharti then asked the Delhi High Court for anticipatory bail.

The High Court has heard the arguments and will announce its decision later.
