CRPF Mandates Weekly Drills and Sports to Boost Fitness
The CRPF, India's largest paramilitary force, is making its members exercise more!
They are now required to have weekly parades, do yoga or PT (physical training) every day, and play sports.
This is to make everyone healthier, stronger, and work better together.
Even people who work in offices have to join in.
This new rule applies to all sorts of units, from those who do medical work to those who work with signals.
The leaders of the CRPF believe this will help everyone be ready for their jobs, work as a team, and feel better about their work.
CRPF has mandated weekly parades, daily PT/yoga, and sports for all personnel.
The initiative aims to enhance discipline, fitness, and cohesion within the force.
Weekly parades will be held every Monday for most units, with participation from various groups.
Daily PT or yoga sessions are required on working days, with certified instructors.
All units will conduct daily sports activities in a rotating "3+1" format.
