New UPI Settlement Rules to Enhance Efficiency
NPCI is changing how UPI transactions are settled.
Starting November 3rd, regular payments will be processed in separate cycles from refunds and disputes.
This means when you pay, the transaction should show up faster in your bank.
If you have a problem and need a refund, it should arrive quicker too.
This change helps banks process transactions more efficiently, especially with the growing popularity of UPI.
NPCI is implementing new UPI settlement rules from November 3.
Authorized transactions will be processed in 10 daily cycles.
Dispute settlements will be processed in two separate cycles.
Users can expect faster reflection of transactions.
Banks will experience reduced congestion and improved efficiency.
