Drug Issues in Punjab and Bihar Raised in Rajya Sabha
In the Rajya Sabha, Swati Maliwal from the Aam Aadmi Party talked about how some drug treatment centers in Punjab, which are supposed to help people stop using drugs, are actually selling drugs.
She asked the central government to make sure the money they give to Punjab is used correctly.
The minister said they are aware of the problem and will check more carefully.
Another politician, Ranjeet Ranjan, talked about how kids in Bihar, a state where alcohol is not allowed, are still using drugs.
The minister said they are working with other groups to stop this and will do more to help.
AAP MP Swati Maliwal accused Punjab government of misusing Central funds meant for drug de-addiction.
22 de-addiction centres in Punjab were raided by the Enforcement Directorate, finding some centres supplying drugs.

Congress MP Ranjeet Ranjan raised concerns about drug abuse among schoolchildren in Bihar despite liquor prohibition.
