Bihar's Poll Promises: Tejashwi Yadav Pledges Benefits for Panchayat Leaders
Tejashwi Yadav, from the RJD party, is promising to help people in Bihar if his party wins the next election.
He said that if the INDIA bloc comes to power, the people in charge of the local government will get twice the money they get now.
They will also get insurance and a pension.
He also wants to give interest-free loans to people who work as barbers, potters, and carpenters.
Additionally, he promises to give the distributors of the public distribution system more money.
Tejashwi Yadav announced that allowances for Bihar's panchayati raj representatives would be doubled if the INDIA bloc wins.
He promised a Rs 50 lakh insurance cover and pension for panchayat representatives.
Yadav stated that the margin money for public distribution system distributors would increase.
Interest-free loans for barbers, potters, and carpenters were also promised.
The Bihar assembly elections are scheduled for November 6 and November 11.
