Rahul Gandhi is planning to speak with students in Indore on September 19.

Before the event, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said Gandhi should apologise for problems caused by earlier Congress governments.

Yadav said unemployment was high and incomes were low during that period.

He also said incomes are much higher under the current BJP government.

Congress said the government made it difficult to hold the programme at the original stadium.

The event was therefore moved to another place.

Congress spokesperson Ragini Nayak said young people disagreed with BJP policies.

She also said caste information in the 2027 Census must be recorded carefully and consistently.
