ICMR Chief Says Swine Flu Scare Exceeds Actual Threat

Swine flu cases have been reported in Delhi-NCR and other parts of India.

This has caused concern among many people.

The head of the Indian Council of Medical Research said people do not need to panic.

He said scientists have not found a new or unusually dangerous strain.

The virus spreading is the familiar Influenza A (H1N1).

It is now considered an endemic, seasonal flu.

Most people who catch it have mild symptoms and recover on their own.

Health officials are still aware of the reported cases.
