CBSE to Hold Fresh Class 12 Exams for West Asia
CBSE had to cancel some Class 12 exams in seven West Asian countries because of a war situation.
The cancelled exams covered 40 subjects.
CBSE used a special assessment scheme to prepare students’ results.
Regular students received these results on May 13, 2026, while private candidates received results later under the same scheme.
Some students were unhappy with their marks.
CBSE will now let eligible students take exams in the subjects they choose.
Students will not have to pay an examination fee.
Their new results will replace the old results and will be final.
CBSE will conduct fresh Class 12 exams for affected West Asian candidates dissatisfied with assessment-scheme results.
The original exams were cancelled in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
The cancellation covered 40 subjects, including 20 academic subjects.
Candidates may choose which subjects to take, and no examination fee will be charged.
The new results will replace earlier performances and will be final; dates will be announced after form submission.
