TN Farmers Seek Mettur Water Extension
Farmers in Tamil Nadu are asking the government to keep releasing water from the Mettur dam until the end of February.
Normally, the water is released from June to January, but this year, the crops were delayed because of bad weather and a cyclone.
The farmers need the water to help their crops grow and to prevent big losses.
Without the water, the areas that get it last will be in big trouble.
The farmers say the crops are still growing and need the water until March.
