Tunisia Dismisses Coach After Africa Cup Exit
Tunisia's football team had a coach named Sami Trabelsi.
They played in a big tournament called the Africa Cup of Nations and lost in the last 16 to Mali, even though they had one more player for most of the game.
Before that, they didn't do well in their group, losing to Nigeria and tying with Tanzania.
Because of these bad results, Tunisia decided to let Sami Trabelsi and his team go.
Sami is 57 years old and was coaching Tunisia for the second time.
Even though they didn't do well in Africa, Tunisia still qualified for the World Cup.
Tunisia dismissed coach Sami Trabelsi and his staff after a last 16 exit at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The team lost to Mali on penalties despite having a player advantage for most of the match.
Tunisia previously underperformed in Group C, losing to Nigeria and drawing with Tanzania.
Sami Trabelsi, 57, was coaching Tunisia for his second stint and led them to World Cup qualification.
