Rami Malek on 'Nuremberg' Joy and No 'Mr. Robot' Return
Rami Malek is in a new movie called 'Nuremberg' about a real trial after World War II.
Even though the story is very serious, about bad people who did terrible things, Malek said it was surprisingly fun to act in.
He explained that the script had moments that made them laugh and that the actors enjoyed creating their characters.
He also said filming in Hungary, where the events happened, made the experience feel very important.
Malek also said he has no plans to make a new show related to 'Mr.
Robot,' his old TV show, but he might work with the show's creator again on something new.
Rami Malek described a sense of 'giddiness' among castmates while working on the historical film 'Nuremberg'.
Malek stated that the script by James Vanderbilt brilliantly captured the juxtaposition of grim subject matter with moments of humor and humanity.
He highlighted the importance of the filming location in Hungary, noting the palpable tension and connection locals felt to the historical events.
Malek's role is an Army psychiatrist tasked with evaluating Hermann Göring and engaging in psychological warfare with Nazi officers.
Malek definitively stated there are no plans for a 'Mr. Robot' reboot or spinoff but is open to future collaborations with the series' creator.
