Ganguly Questions India's Spinner Strategy in Recent Test Matches
Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly is saying that the Indian team made a mistake by not playing the spinner Kuldeep Yadav in some recent cricket matches.
He thinks that spinners are really helpful in getting the other team out towards the end of a match.
Ganguly used examples of famous spinners.
He thought the team missed a chance by not including Kuldeep in those games.
He mentioned England's failure to win a match was because they didn't have great spinners.
However, he also agreed that leaving Kuldeep out of the last game was okay because the pitch suited fast bowlers better.
Sourav Ganguly criticized the exclusion of Kuldeep Yadav in the Lord’s and Manchester Tests.
Ganguly believes spinners are crucial for taking wickets on the final days of Test matches.
He pointed out that England's inability to secure a win in the fourth Test was due to a lack of strong spinners.
Ganguly mentioned Shane Warne, Muralitharan, Kumble, and Ashwin as examples of successful spinners.
He stated that omitting Kuldeep from the fifth Test was justifiable.
