Oracle Revokes Techie's Job Offer Again Five Days Before Joining
A person got a job at a big computer company called Oracle.
In May, the company changed its mind and took the job away.
Later, in July, the company said yes again and gave him the job back.
He was very happy and did all the paperwork, packed his bags, and bought plane tickets to move for the job.
But just five days before he was supposed to start, the company changed its mind again.
Now he has no job and is looking for a new one.
He had other job chances before, but he did not take them because he trusted Oracle.
Some people online feel sorry for him, while others say he should have been more careful or doubt the story.
He says he is starting again and asking people for help finding work.
A software developer says Oracle revoked his job offer twice, the second time just five days before his scheduled August 18 joining date.
His PPO from Oracle was revoked in May 2026, but he was offered the same position again in July 2026 with the August 18 joining date.
He had completed documentation and joining formalities, packed his bags, and booked flight tickets for relocation.
His LinkedIn post was reposted by X user @_kumbhkaran, drawing mixed reactions — some users doubted the account, while others urged Oracle to investigate.
He is now seeking referrals for roles in SDE, software engineering, and AI engineering.
