Man Arrested in Kerala for Fake Visa Attempt
A man was caught trying to fly to Slovakia with a fake visa.
He got the visa from an agency for a lot of money, but it wasn't real.
The man was allowed to transit through Sharjah, but officials there knew the visa was fake, and sent him back.
Police arrested him and let him go on bail, but he has to help them catch the agency that gave him the fake visa.
More people are getting caught in visa scams this year than in the past few years.
A man was arrested in Thiruvananthapuram for attempting to travel to Slovakia with a forged Schengen visa.
The visa was provided by an Angamaly-based agency for 7 lakh rupees, which appeared authentic.
Immigration officials in Sharjah detected the visa as fake, leading to the man's deportation.
The arrested man was released on station bail and promised to cooperate with the investigation.
