Delhi Police Suspends Leaves Amid Protests
The Delhi Police have suspended all routine leaves for their personnel because of concerns about law and order.
This decision comes as there are big protests in the city led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP).
The protesters want changes in the examination system and the resignation of the Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, because of a paper leak in the NEET exams.
On July 20, thousands of protesters gathered at Jantar Mantar to march towards Parliament, but the police used force to stop them.
This led to injuries on both sides.
The police have also said that no one can attend training courses without the commissioner's approval.
