Iranian President Thanks India for Strengthening BRICS Cooperation
Iran’s president spoke at a BRICS business meeting in New Delhi.
He thanked India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for organizing the gathering.
He said countries’ economic safety is connected to their national and regional safety.
Conflicts and sanctions can disrupt trade, energy, infrastructure, and financial systems.
He asked BRICS countries to work more closely on trade and investment.
He also suggested creating a shared insurance company with $10 billion in starting funds.
He wanted countries to make customs and digital systems work together more easily.
He said BRICS should help create technology and protect important computer systems.

Iran proposed creating a BRICS joint reinsurance company with initial capital of $10 billion.
Pezeshkian also called for digital cooperation, reduced trade barriers, and stronger critical-infrastructure cybersecurity.
