India Excluded from US-Led Pax Silica Bloc
The US has started a new group called Pax Silica with nine countries to make sure they have control over important technology supplies, like silicon, and to reduce China's influence.
India is not part of this group.
The Congress party says this is because the relationship between Prime Minister Modi and President Trump has gotten worse.
They think it would have been good for India to be in this group.
However, Prime Minister Modi had a nice phone call with President Trump, talking about their countries' relationship and other important world issues.
This shows that even though India is not in the Pax Silica group, the two leaders are still talking and working together.
The US has launched the Pax Silica initiative, excluding India, to reduce Chinese control on high-tech supply chains.
Congress attributes India's exclusion to a sharp downturn in Trump-Modi ties since May 10, 2025.
Prime Minister Modi had a warm phone conversation with President Trump, discussing bilateral relations and global issues.
India will host the India-AI Impact Summit 2026, focusing on AI principles and global South participation.
US-India trade talks concluded, aiming to provide relief from 50% tariffs on Indian goods.
