New Harley-Davidson 440 Model Set for Indian Roads
Harley-Davidson is planning to launch a new motorcycle in India, built on the 440 platform.
This is a result of the partnership with Hero MotoCorp.
While the existing models, X440 and Mavrick 440, haven't sold as well as expected, the company is still trying to succeed in the Indian market.
Sales of the X440 and Mavrick 440 have been underwhelming, with a sharp drop in the April-June quarter of 2025.
The Mavrick 440 was removed from the market because of weak demand.
Hero MotoCorp is also trying to expand beyond the commuter motorcycle segment by launching new 125cc bikes to compete with Honda.
