Medical and Blood Camps Mark Harikrishna Birth Anniversary
People in Nimmakuru gathered to remember Nandamuri Harikrishna on his 70th birthday anniversary.
His family and local leaders paid flowers to his portrait and to a statue of his father, NTR.
They also cut a cake to mark the occasion.
A medical camp offered checkups to local residents and students.
Doctors gave medicines to people for free.
A blood donation camp was held at the same venue.
Leaders spoke about Harikrishna’s connection with ordinary people.
They also remembered his work as Transport Minister and his help during Godavari floods.
Nimmakuru hosted free medical and blood donation camps to mark former Minister Nandamuri Harikrishna’s 70th birth anniversary.
The NTR Memorial Trust and Kopparla Lakshmi Charitable Trust jointly organised the camps at TTD Kalyana Mandapam.
Specialised doctors examined local residents and students and distributed free medicines.
Several political and public representatives inaugurated the camps after paying tributes to NTR and Harikrishna.
Government Whip Yarlagadda Venkata Rao recalled Harikrishna’s public outreach, transport policies and flood-relief efforts.
