Bittu Targets Punjab Government Over School Staffing and Facilities

Bittu Targets Punjab Government Over School Staffing and Facilities

Ravneet Singh Bittu visited a government school in Punjab.

He said around 90 children were being taught by only two teachers.

He claimed one teacher was often sent to work elsewhere, leaving only one teacher at the school.

Bittu also said the playground was overgrown and the school had only one toilet seat for students.

He criticized the condition of the mid-day meal store and other facilities.

He accused the Aam Aadmi Party government of presenting old school improvements as new work.

The Punjab government had not responded to these claims when the report was published.

Bittu said he would visit a government school every day to highlight such problems.
