Hyderabad Commissioner Flags Fake Image Misusing His Likeness
A fake picture appeared online that made it look as if Hyderabad’s police chief had arrested someone.
The police chief said the picture was made with AI and was not real.
He asked people to check information before sharing it and asked actor Jr NTR to notice that some fans were using his image.
The picture was shared by an X account, which reportedly deleted it and apologised.
The incident happened amid another controversy involving an AI-changed video of actors Janhvi Kapoor and Jr NTR.
The video used scenes from their song “Chuttamalle.”
Janhvi spoke about women’s privacy and personal boundaries.
Jr NTR said he would take legal action against the people responsible for the video.
Hyderabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar said an image showing him making an arrest was AI-generated and not genuine.
Sajjanar urged people not to share unverified images and directly asked Jr NTR to take note of the alleged misuse by some fans.
An X account that shared the image reportedly deleted it and apologised; some Jr NTR fans disputed that those responsible were genuine fans.
The fake image circulated amid controversy over an AI-morphed video featuring Janhvi Kapoor and Jr NTR, using visuals from their song “Chuttamalle.”
Janhvi Kapoor raised concerns about women’s boundaries and autonomy, while Jr NTR said he would pursue legal action against those behind the manipulated video.
