RSRTC Launches Campaign to Improve Bus Maintenance
Imagine buses as big toys that need regular care!
The Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) is starting a program called 'My Bus, My Responsibility' to keep all the buses in good shape.
They're assigning people to be in charge of each bus and making sure they're cleaned, safe, and working properly.
The goal is to check the tracking system, fire extinguishers, and first-aid kits.
They will also display the contact info of those responsible.
If something isn't right, the people in charge will get a warning.
The managers have a deadline, and they hope to fix up half the buses by June 15.
This will help keep the buses running smoothly and keep passengers safe.
RSRTC launched the 'Meri Bus Meri Zimmedaari' campaign for bus maintenance.
Depot managers are directed to focus on mechanical, body, electrical, and safety aspects of the buses.
Vehicle in-charges and supervisors will be appointed, with their contact details displayed on buses.
The corporation aims to complete maintenance on 50% of its fleet by June 15.
The maintenance includes cleaning, checking the vehicle tracking system, fire extinguishers, and first-aid kits.
