Nvidia Unveils Next-Gen AI Chips
Nvidia, a big tech company, announced new AI chips called Vera-Rubin.
These chips are much more powerful than the old ones, giving five times more computing power.
They will help with things like chatbots, self-driving cars, and other AI tasks.
The CEO, Jensen Huang, showed how these chips can work together in big groups to make AI systems faster and more efficient.
Nvidia is also working on new software for self-driving cars, called Alpamayo, which will be open-sourced along with its training data.
The company is collaborating with Mercedes-Benz to incorporate its driver assistance software in the upcoming CLA model.
Nvidia is confident that their new products will be better than older ones and are competing with other companies like AMD and Alphabet in the AI market.
Jensen Huang also shared his vision for the future of AI, including autonomous cars, trucks, and robots.
Nvidia's next-gen AI chips, Vera-Rubin, offer five times more computing power than previous models.
The chips are designed for AI applications like chatbots, self-driving technology, and long-context workflows.
Nvidia plans to release the chips later this year, earlier than expected.
The Vera-Rubin platform includes 72 graphics units and 36 central processors, with the ability to form 'pods' of over 1,000 chips.
Nvidia also announced new software for self-driving cars, called Alpamayo, which will be open-sourced along with its training data.
