Britain Launches Annual Day Honouring Terrorism Victims and Survivors

Britain held a special day for people affected by terrorism.

Victims, survivors, families and emergency workers gathered in London.

They remembered those who were killed or hurt and observed two minutes of silence.

The day will happen every August 21.

Andy Burnham said many survivors still feel pain long after attacks leave the news.

He said the government had not always provided enough help.

The government promised better support, legal assistance and compensation.

A new service is available all day and night to help people recover.
