Bhiwandi Announces Security, Traffic Curbs Ahead of Eid Procession

Bhiwandi is preparing for a large Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi procession on August 26.

Police are increasing security to help keep people safe and maintain peace.

Community and religious leaders said they would cooperate with the police.

They also asked for potholes on the procession roads to be repaired.

Traffic rules will change from noon until the procession is over.

Some vehicles will be sent along different roads to reduce traffic.

Buses may drop passengers at certain points before returning.

Ambulances, fire engines and police vehicles will still be allowed through.

Parking will not be allowed along the procession route.
