CID Links BJP MLA to Bengaluru Realtor Murder
A real estate operator named Bikla Shiva was killed in Bengaluru on July 15.
The police think a man named Jaga did it, and that a BJP MLA named Byrathi Basavaraj might have been involved.
They say Jaga called Basavaraj right after the murder, and they met before Jaga left the country.
The court said the charges against Basavaraj are serious and didn't let him avoid arrest.
The police also said that Basavaraj and Jaga had a plan to kill Shiva because of a fight over land.
Shiva had even told the police that Basavaraj and his friends threatened him before he was killed.
