Chris Columbus Fired from 'Fantastic Four' Due to Creative Differences
Chris Columbus, the director of 'Home Alone' and 'Harry Potter', was working on the 'Fantastic Four' movie in the 90s.
He had some ideas about how the movie should look, based on the original comic books.
He shared his ideas, but the movie makers didn't agree and ended up firing him.
Columbus was told he had 'too much of an opinion'.
He says this experience turned him off of making those types of movies anymore.
Now he's working on a new movie based on the 'Thursday Murder Club' novel.
Chris Columbus worked on an early script for the 2005 'Fantastic Four' movie.
He was fired from the project for having too much of an opinion.
Columbus's ideas weren't well-received by the makers of the movie.
Columbus was credited as an executive producer, but had nothing to do with the final film.
The experience discouraged him from making similar films in the future.
