UP Launches Online Transfer System for Teachers in 2026
Imagine teachers in Uttar Pradesh schools wanting to move to a different school.

Uttar Pradesh will launch an online transfer system for teachers and principals in aided secondary schools by the 2026-27 academic year.
The new system will allow teachers to apply online for transfers, with preferences for specific districts and schools.
Vacant positions will be listed on the department's website, and teachers can select up to five preferred schools.
Priority for transfers will be given to teachers with spouses in the armed forces, those in Naxal-affected areas, and those with serious illnesses, among others.
Transfers will be capped at 20% of a school's staff, and teachers in eight specific districts will have limited transfer options.
