Kotak Securities Predicts Strong Indian Markets Amid Global Volatility
Kotak Securities released its 2026 Market Outlook, saying that Indian stocks and commodities like gold will do well even if the world economy is uncertain.
Shripal Shah, the head of Kotak Securities, said that India is growing strongly and that more young people are starting to invest.
He thinks that stocks, especially in areas like banks and technology, will keep going up.
Gold will also be a good investment because it's safe when there's uncertainty.
The report says that even though there are some problems, like a weak rupee and money leaving the country, India's markets are strong and will keep offering good chances to make money.
Kotak Securities predicts strong Indian equities and commodities in 2026 despite global uncertainties.
Indian equities rebounded in 2025, with the Nifty 50 reaching a new all-time high by year-end.
Preferred sectors for 2026 include BFSI, technology, healthcare, and hospitality.
Gold surged 55% globally and 60% in India in 2025, acting as a safe-haven asset.
Increasing participation from young investors is expected to deepen market engagement and support wealth creation.
