BJD Claims Odisha's NITI Aayog Rank Reflects Legacy

BJD Claims Odisha's NITI Aayog Rank Reflects Legacy

The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) in Odisha claims that the state's fifth-place ranking in the NITI Aayog's Investment Friendliness Index is due to over two decades of industrial reforms and fiscal discipline under their government.

They accuse the current BJP government of trying to take credit for this achievement.

The BJD highlights their administration's efforts in developing infrastructure, promoting industrial corridors, and attracting investments across various sectors.

They also mention that Odisha was the top destination for investment proposals in 2019, according to the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE).

The BJD urges the BJP government to focus on attracting fresh investments and establishing new industries rather than claiming credit for policies initiated during the previous regime.
