Bangalore Church Decorates Christmas Tree with Old Sarees
A church in Bengaluru, India, has a special tradition for Christmas.
For the past 17 years, they have been making big Christmas trees using things that people usually throw away.
This year, they made a 25-foot tall tree using old sarees that people donated.
They dyed the sarees green and put them on a metal frame.
Inside the church, they also made wreaths using leftover pieces of cloth from factories.
About 15 to 20 volunteers worked for almost a month to make these decorations.
The church wants to show that we can make beautiful things for festivals using items we already have at home.
They have used many different things in the past, like plastic bottles, tyres, and even coconut shells.
A man named Daniel Thomas helps lead this project every year.
