Mizoram Congress demands special session on FCRA bill
The Mizoram Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) wants the state government to hold a special meeting to officially say no to a new law called the FCRA Amendment Bill.
They think this law could hurt Christian groups and other organizations that get money from outside India.
The Congress party says the law is unfair and wants the Chief Minister, Lalduhoma, to lead the opposition against it.
They also protested against the law on July 21.
The Congress party is worried that the law and other rules, like making people sing a song with Hindu gods, are taking away religious freedoms.
The central government has not said anything about these concerns yet.
