Bitcoin Gains Modest Ground Amid Broader Economic Concerns
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies had a bit of a mixed day.
Bitcoin, the biggest one, went up a little, like 0.7%.
Other coins like Ether and XRP also saw gains.
However, overall, many of these digital money types haven't done so well in the last week.
This is because of things like new taxes and the government's decisions about interest rates.
Even when there was good news, like the government talking about rules for crypto, it didn't really make the prices go up much.
It's a bit like when the whole money world gets a little worried, the prices of digital money also feel the pressure.
Bitcoin rose 0.7% over 24 hours to $114,552.
Ether gained 2.6% and XRP climbed 5%.
Solana rose 1.1% while Dogecoin rose 3.3%.
Major cryptos are down over the past week, with Solana down 11%.
