NCLT Defers Bhushan Steel Hearing After Supreme Court Order
The legal proceedings regarding Bhushan Power & Steel (BPSL) are on hold.
The Supreme Court told everyone to pause the liquidation process.
Because of this, the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), which was supposed to have a hearing, postponed it.
The hearing will now be in August.
This is because JSW Steel, a company involved in the case, is seeking a review, so the court needs to wait.
The Supreme Court ordered a status quo on Bhushan Power & Steel's liquidation.
NCLT deferred its hearing on the BPSL case.
The Supreme Court had previously rejected JSW Steel's resolution plan.
The deferral is a result of the Supreme Court's order.
The hearing is deferred to August.
