Video Exposes Govt School Run Inside a Hut in Mandla
A video on the internet shows a school in India that is not a normal school building.
The school is just a little hut made of mud with a roof covered by plastic.
Little children from first to fifth grade all sit together in one room to study.
The hut is next to farm fields, so some people worry that snakes or scorpions could come inside when it rains a lot.
People who saw the video are upset and asking why the government does not give the children a safe school building.
The person who made the video joked in a serious way that a child who survives this place can face anything in the world.
The state government, Madhya Pradesh, spends a lot of money on education — more than 36 thousand crore rupees.
Its new budget gives about 52,917 crore rupees for education and related things, which is 13 percent more than last year.
The budget also plans to hire 15,000 new teachers and update many school buildings.
But this school shows that some places still lack even basic things like benches and a safe room, so people want the government to fix these problems.
A viral video exposed a Government Primary School in Singhanpuri tehsil, Mandla district, Madhya Pradesh, operating inside a mud hut with a tarpaulin-covered roof.
Students from Classes 1 to 5 reportedly study together in a single room inside the hut, which sits between agricultural fields.
Netizens raised safety concerns over poisonous reptiles such as snakes and scorpions entering the school premises, especially during the monsoon.
The video's narrator sarcastically said a child who survives such conditions can face any competition in the world.
Madhya Pradesh's 2026-27 budget allocated ₹52,917 crore for education, sports, arts and culture, a 13% increase, with plans to recruit 15,000 teachers.
