Bangladesh and Pakistan Revive Military Ties
Bangladesh and Pakistan are becoming closer friends, especially in the military.
They are having important meetings and planning to work together more.
Bangladesh is talking to Pakistan about training their fighter pilots and other military staff.
They are also planning to open new air and shipping routes between their countries.
This is a big change because Bangladesh used to be closer to India.
Some people are worried because Pakistan did bad things to Bangladesh a long time ago, but now they are trying to be friends again.
Bangladesh and Pakistan are strengthening military and diplomatic ties through high-level visits.
A Pakistani military delegation led by Lieutenant General Shakir Ullah Khattak met Bangladesh's Army Chief General Waker Uz Zaman.
Bangladesh is seeking Pakistan's help in training fighter pilots and technical staff to improve military collaboration.
Pakistan's desire to strengthen cooperation includes a two-way shipping route between Karachi and Chittagong and a planned Dhaka-Karachi air route.
