DCM Shriram Q1 Profit Jumps 6x

DCM Shriram Q1 Profit Jumps 6x

DCM Shriram, a company in India, recently reported a big increase in its profits for the first three months of the financial year.

Their net profit went up six times compared to the same period last year, reaching Rs 692.7 crore.

This increase was mainly because of some one-time gains, like selling land and getting favorable tax decisions from previous years.

However, if we don't count these one-time gains, their profit was Rs 147 crore.

Their overall revenue also went up by 9.5%, with their chemicals segment and building systems doing really well.

Even though their profits look good for now, their stock price has been going down over the past year, which might worry some investors.
