Supriya Sule Challenges Maharashtra Government Over Pune Issues

Supriya Sule said Pune is facing serious problems with crime and public safety.

She asked Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to pay more attention to the city.

She referred to claims about murders and attempted murders in Pimpri-Chinchwad.

She said crime figures sent by the Maharashtra government to the Centre showed a major concern, although she was told crime was declining.

Sule also criticised the government because many groups are protesting across Maharashtra.

She raised concerns about prices, jobs, corruption, potholes and exam security.

The Pune Municipal Corporation said its Junior Engineer exam was not broadly compromised and that cases were filed against students accused of cheating.

Sule also wants a clear decision about DJs during Ganeshotsav.

Officials and local representatives will review the Phursungi garbage-depot issues on September 18.
