Snap Adds AI Assistant and Partnerships to $2,195 Specs Glasses
Snap is making a new pair of smart glasses called Specs.
They can show digital information in front of the person wearing them.
The glasses will include an AI helper called Specs Intelligence.
People can connect the helper to apps such as Gmail and Slack.
It may help users prepare for meetings, organize trips, and remember deadlines.
The glasses can also play HBO Max and Spotify content.
Businesses may use them to help workers complete tasks.
Snap is also working with basketball organizations on training features.
The glasses will cost $2,195, so some people may think they are too expensive or too bulky.
Snap says the glasses are meant to make computers more useful in everyday life.
Snap says its $2,195 Specs augmented-reality glasses will ship this fall.
