Mohali Residents Warn Protest Over Infrastructure Issues
People living in a neighborhood called Emaar in Mohali’s Sector 108 are upset because there are problems with the city services and infrastructure.
They have a group called the Resident Welfare Society, led by two people named Ajay Paul Sandhu and PL Garg.
They say that even though a big electricity station in a nearby area, Sector 109, started working in May, their area still doesn’t have its own special electricity line.
They are warning that if these problems aren’t fixed soon, they might protest.
Residents of Emaar in Mohali’s Sector 108 are concerned about ongoing civic and infrastructure issues.
The Resident Welfare Society (RWS) has raised these concerns, led by Ajay Paul Sandhu and PL Garg.
Despite a 66 kV sub-station in Sector 109 becoming operational in May, Sector 108 lacks an independent feeder supply (11 kV cable).
Residents have warned of protests if corrective actions are not taken urgently.
The RWS is demanding immediate attention to the infrastructure shortcomings.
