Cyberabad Commissioner Srijana Outlines New Corporation's Civic Priorities
G Srijana is the leader of a new city department called the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation.
Her job is to make Cyberabad, a place full of technology companies, cleaner and nicer to live in.
She says the top priorities are keeping the city clean, fixing roads, managing traffic, and stopping flooding when it rains.

This year it has already collected about 550 crore rupees, which is a lot of money.

Commissioner G Srijana said the newly formed Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) is focused on accessibility, accountability and livability.
Top priorities include sanitation, traffic management, stormwater management, infrastructure and sustainable growth to support the region's IT economy.
CMC has raised about Rs.550 crore in the current financial year under the Early Bird Scheme, with a total outlay of about Rs.1,100 crore expected.
The corporation identified 54 waterlogging points and is working with the traffic police to recarpet priority roads and fix potholes by the end of the month.
Plans include a QR-code system to track and weigh household waste, while AI-based detection will help enforce action against unauthorised constructions.
