Sena (UBT) wins Parbhani seat by one vote

In a very close election in Parbhani, Maharashtra, a candidate from the Shiv Sena (UBT) party won by just one vote.

Vyankat Dahale got 4312 votes, while his rival from the BJP, Prasad Nagare, got 4311 votes.

Another candidate from the Shiv Sena got 1363 votes, and 113 people chose NOTA, which means they didn't want to vote for any of the candidates.

This shows how important every vote can be in an election.

Meanwhile, in Pune, some people from the Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) protested against the electronic voting machines (EVMs) used in the Pune Municipal Corporation elections.

They said the EVMs had problems and wanted to go back to using paper ballots.

They even burned a model EVM to show their anger.
